You have some bowls!
Tonight I threw the last pieces of my dinnerware set. I had to throw a few more plates that didn't make it though trimming process. Then I threw all the cereal bowls. Hopefully they all make it through trimming and into the kiln!

All trimmed up.
I trimmed my plates tonight and didn't lose one! I am getting much better at trimming. I usually lose one on the wheel by turning the wheel on by accident when the piece hasn't been attached to the wheel head.

Well I continue my quest to throw another set of dishes. Tonight I threw the dinner plates for my set. I have 4 weeks to finish throwing them and glaze them. Fingers crossed!!

Not sure its Pink enough
I have been playing with a new glaze. It's pink but I think it's too pale it almost looks cream.
I do like the two tone concept of the gray with the pink but the pink is just too pale.

Well I have finally managed to get inspired enough to get back into my shed. Have a few things in mind. Started off with a few mugs and some plates. Here are a couple of pictures.

Finally Finished!
Well, in February I posted that I had glazed my dinnerware and that it was going in the kiln. Well I was very disappointed when I opened the kiln and realized that I had glazed the pieces too thin and you could see through the glaze. It looked brown and icky!

Well after almost crying at the thought of 2 years of working on it wasted, I thought about it and decided I would attempt to reglaze the pieces. After a successful test piece, I reglazed all my dinnerware. Here we are 7 months later (thats how long things take with a newborn!) I have finished.
Here are a couple of the pieces.
